How the compatibility check works
Star-sign compatibility compares Sun signs only, so every “Aries and Leo” couple gets the same answer — though no two couples are alike. We compare more: a birth chart is calculated for each person, and three parts of the charts are set side by side.
Sun elements
Fire, earth, air and water make ten combinations. They describe the overall pace and style: who lights up fast, who acts steadily, who lives in ideas and who in feelings.
Moon: emotional rhythm
How each of you processes feelings and what helps you calm down. Same element — you react alike; related elements — you support each other; different — you learn each other’s language.
Venus and Mars: attraction
Aspects between one person’s Venus and the other’s Mars: conjunction, harmony or tension. This part appears only in “Relationships” mode — it isn’t needed for work or friendship.
Relationships, work, friendship: how the modes differ
The same two charts read differently in different contexts. The switch above the form changes how every combination is interpreted.
Relationships
Attraction and closeness, how you show feelings and care, where gentleness is needed. Adds a chapter on Venus and Mars.
Work
Pace and roles, how to agree and share responsibility, where you strengthen each other and where to set the rules early.
Friendship
Communication and support, shared interests, how you spend time together and what helps a friendship through disagreements.
Why we don’t give percentages
“34% compatible” sounds like a verdict, yet behind the number there is nothing but an arbitrary formula. Scores oversimplify and scare: people get upset about a number rather than about their real relationship.
Astrology describes the dynamics of a couple, not its outcome. So the COSMEYA reading shows where things come easily and where care is needed — and decides nothing for you. People build relationships, not planets.
A sample reading
Air and earth: Anna lives on ideas, conversation and change; Ilya values stability, predictability and tangible results. Together you can complement each other — she brings lightness and new experiences, he provides grounding. Tension arises when your pace doesn’t match: she gets bored, he gets anxious.
Both Moons are in water signs: you experience feelings in a similar way and read each other’s mood quickly. It is a real strength of the couple, one to lean on in difficult moments.
The full result has chapters on the Sun elements, the Moon’s rhythm and attraction, and closes with an invitation to talk: what to pay attention to together.
Zodiac sign compatibility by element
The twelve signs fall into four elements: fire — Aries, Leo, Sagittarius; earth — Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn; air — Gemini, Libra, Aquarius; water — Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces. This is how Sun elements usually combine.
Fire + fire
Plenty of energy, passion and drive. You light each other up easily — and just as easily argue over who leads. A shared project that takes all that fire helps.
Fire + earth
Impulse meets steadiness. Fire brings ideas and courage, earth brings a plan and results. The tension is about pace: one wants it now, the other wants it certain.
Fire + air
An easy, inspiring mix: air fans the flame. Lots of talk, plans and adventures. Just make sure the ideas reach the doing stage.
Fire + water
Brightness and depth. Fire looks for action, water for emotional closeness. The pull is strong, but care is needed: fire’s directness can hurt, and water’s sensitivity can dampen the spark.
Earth + earth
Reliability, shared values and an easy daily rhythm. You build solidly and for the long run. The risk is routine: step out of the familiar together now and then.
Earth + air
Practice and ideas. Air brings novelty and lightness, earth helps make things real. Friction comes from different needs: stability versus change.
Earth + water
One of the most supportive mixes: earth gives grounding, water gives warmth and care. Together it feels safe and calm. Just don’t close yourselves off from the world.
Air + air
Mental closeness, endless conversation and freedom. You never get bored together. Feelings and practicalities are harder: someone has to ground the plans.
Air + water
Head and heart. Air analyses and talks things through, water feels them. You can teach each other a lot — as long as neither dismisses the other’s way of processing.
Water + water
Deep emotional understanding, often without words. Strong intimacy and care. The risk is sinking into moods together: boundaries and clear agreements help.
This is only the first layer. The Moon, Venus and Mars can change the picture a lot — which is why two couples with the same signs get different readings.
How to read the reading together
Read it on your own first
Note what resonates and what doesn’t. It isn’t an exam: mismatches are valuable too — they show you see yourselves differently.
Compare impressions
Ask each other: “Is this us?” The most interesting part is usually where your answers differ.
Pick one theme
Different paces, say, or different ways of calming down. Agree on what would help you both — one small concrete step beats big promises.
Come back to it later
Reread the reading in a month. Relationships change, and what seemed central may give way to something else.

You can start with your own birth chart: once it is calculated, your details are filled into the compatibility form automatically.
Questions & answers
No, dates and places of birth are enough. The time refines the Moon: if the Moon changed sign on the birthday, the Moon part will be approximate without a time, and we say so.
Star-sign compatibility compares only the Sun signs, so it is the same for every “Aries and Leo” couple. Comparing charts also takes the Moon into account, and in relationships Venus and Mars, so two couples with the same signs can get different readings.
Yes. The “Work” and “Friendship” modes describe not attraction but how you interact: how you communicate, agree and support each other.
The reading never says that. It shows where you easily find common ground and where care is needed. You make the decisions in your relationship — the reading is just a reason to talk and understand each other better.
