Personal vs general horoscope: the difference
A general horoscope takes one thing into account — your Sun sign. It is the same for one in twelve people on Earth, so it can’t help speaking in generalities.
A personal horoscope takes the whole chart into account: the Moon, the Ascendant, the planets and houses. Today’s Moon in Cancer moves through one person’s house of relationships, another’s house of career, and touches a third person’s natal Venus. One sky, different days for people of the same sign.

How a personal horoscope is built
It rests on transits: the aspects that moving planets form to the points of your birth chart. Each planet has its own pace, and together they make the “weather” of the day.
Tone of the day
The Moon crosses a sign in two to three days and sets the mood: what feels easy, what pulls you, where to go gently.
Highlights of the week
The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars light up areas of life over days and weeks — communication, relationships, energy.
Backdrop of the period
Jupiter, Saturn and the outer planets set themes that last for months — you can see them in the Life Map.
What you’ll get every day
- Relationships — what to watch with loved ones and your partner.
- Work — where it’s easier to take the initiative and where to finish what you started.
- Mood — the emotional tone of the day and what helps you through it.
- Card and number of the day — one tarot card and a numerology number as another pointer.
The horoscope arrives in your personal account, alongside your other readings. More about the subscription under pricing.
A sample daily horoscope
Today the Moon moves through your house of communication and forms a harmonious aspect to your natal Venus. A good day to message someone you haven’t talked to in a while, or to gently raise something you’ve been putting off: the words will come more easily than usual.
At work, Mars in a tense aspect to your MC may add some rush. Don’t take on other people’s deadlines — better to finish one thing than to start three.
This is a made-up example. Your horoscope will be built from your chart and today’s sky.
How to use your horoscope
A personal horoscope is useful when it helps you notice yourself, not when it dictates what to do. A few simple rules:
- Read it in the morning, check it in the evening. In the morning as a pointer; in the evening to see what of it really was about you.
- Watch for repeats. If a theme comes back several days in a row, a slow transit usually stands behind it — worth thinking about seriously.
- Don’t hand over your decisions. A horoscope can suggest where to be more careful, but you make the decisions about work, money and relationships.
- Add context. The moon calendar shows the rhythm of the month, and the Life Map the big stages behind your days.

Questions & answers
Your Sun sign is just one part of your chart. A personal horoscope looks at the Moon, the Ascendant, the planets and houses, so the same sky touches different people differently.
Ideally, yes. Without a time the Ascendant and houses are unknown, and the horoscope will be less precise about areas of life.
It will be updated daily in your personal account with a subscription. You can start with a free birth chart on this page.
We focus on personal horoscopes: they are more precise and more useful. For the general mood of the day, see “The sky today” and the moon calendar.
